Salamander Books originally started in Baltimore in the late 90's by Michael Cantor, and was a much esteemed city fixture well into the new millennium.  Due to the unfortunate down-turn of the traditional book business due to the Kindle and like cyber-media, it closed it's public doors though remained an on-line bookseller until the present time.​

     The good news is books are making a big comeback (as are vinyl and CDs which we've incorporated into our inventory!) and we've found a new home in Annville Pennsylvania at The Allen Theatre, creating a space where book lovers, musicians, cinephiles, and artisans of every kind will find material to aid in their quests, as well as provide a community hub to share thoughts and ideas with like-minded individuals.
